Our Ethos
Our Islamic ethos promotes children to become God-conscious, well-rounded and balanced individuals. We have a particular focus on using the prophetic model to promote respect and kindness for all, irrespective of their background. Some of the ways in which we do this is:
- Encourage children to learn why they should share
- Encourage children to speak with respect to each other and staff
- Encourage children to be kind
- Encourage please's and thank you's
- Encourage children to tidy up after playing
- Encourage children to sit when eating and drinking
- Encourage children to give and take with the right hand
We believe each child should grow to be a model member of our society, we instil confidence in their religious heritage at an early age. This empowers them to interact with confidence, learn and share views and ideas.
We incorporate daily circle time covering principles and supplications from the Quran and Sunnah, enabling the child to understand the moral lessons in a practical manner and when to use supplications in everyday life.
